Colleagues,
I am sharing a letter I sent to City Manager Ott late last week with a number of questions about transportation issues at the proposed Planned Unit Development (PUD) known as “The Grove at Shoal Creek.”
As you know, our city staff has been in the process of reviewing this proposal, and I truly appreciate their efforts on this. The size and location of this particular PUD (roughly 75 acres within a large residential area in our urban core) is unprecedented and, as such, it deserves an unprecedented level of scrutiny and care. At this time, I have a number of questions about the details of this project, including questions about the need for complete impact analyses of traffic proposals and the contents and conditions of the Traffic Phasing Agreement, among other things.
I appreciate our city staff’s work on this project to date and look forward to considering a PUD review that reflects a complete picture of the project’s impacts and proposed improvements.
My April 13 letter to City Manager Ott is available here: http://assets.austintexas.gov/austincou ... 112442.pdf.
I have also attached an April 1 email with list of specific questions from the community here: http://assets.austintexas.gov/austincou ... 12545.docx.
Thanks,
Leslie

Re: Questions on The Grove PUD
We've heard some reports that one of the links provided yesterday may be broken on some systems. Here's a better link to view the questions concerning the Grove PUD submitted by a community member.
