I want to thank the Mayor Pro Tem for bringing forward Item 55. As tech and AI continue to develop, becoming more a part of people’s daily lives, it is important that the City’s policies also develop. It is essential that the City begins to bridge the digital divide, engage with the community to establish and re-establish AI best practices, and create policies to protect workers.

This item addresses all of these things, and more.

Therefore, I would like to be added to this item as a co-sponsor.
