When the Mobility Committee and Council first took up ground transportation issues in the Spring we discussed that we would take up TNC issues after concluding the taxi franchise process
The following is the Mobility Committee's timetable for addressing TNC issues. There will be opportunities for public input at the September meeting, as well as the Council meeting. We will include Invited testimony at the September Committee meeting and have been in touch with TNC companies re the timeline

COMMITTEE TIMETABLE:
Aug. 5 Meeting: presentation of staff recommendations, committee Members’ question if desired; no public input
Sept. 2 Meeting: invited and public testimony, possible committee discussion, time permitting
Oct. 7 Meeting: public testimony closed; discussion and action on recommendation to full council

1. TNC company licensing/registration/fee
2. Insurance
3. Data Reporting
4. Driver Requirements (including, but not limited to, background checks, certification/licensing)
4. Rates/Fares (including, but not limited to, dynamic pricing and geo-fencing)

6. Operations (including, but not limited to, vehicle requirements/inspections, trade dress)
