Wednesday's Schedule

Dear colleagues,

I would like to suggest that we adjust some of our planned timing tomorrow for our and our staff’s health and safety. I am concerned about an 11 pm end time with a 9 am restart on Thursday. Instead I would like to suggest a 9 pm end time on Wednesday with a 9 am start on Thursday.

We do not do our best work late in the evening. I think the current plan is unfair to our staff in expecting them to work late and then arrive early with minimal time between meetings. I believe it creates a potentially unsafe situation for our staff to commute so late.

Even with eliminating those two late evening hours, I believe we can abide by the rest of the timeline the mayor outlined.

colleagues, I agree with Alison's point and request that we end our evening tonight around 9 p.m.
This is not just about our day or our staffers', but also about the MANY city staff whose schedules must accommodate the Council's.
