Based on the conversation from Tuesday's work session, I will be bringing the following amendment to the resolution which will still note the History Center use but leave open the opportunity for co-located services on site.

Thank you, Council Member Flannigan, for proposing this amendment to the Faulk renovation resolution. Like you, I would like to see this beautiful, historic City asset used to its highest purpose and enjoyed by as many residents as possible, especially given its location on our top transit corridor. It makes sense to consider the possibilities for co-located services that could serve Austinites in addition to History Center users, and I look forward to supporting this amendment tomorrow.
