Dear Colleagues,

I propose these simple amendments to the 2016 Drought Contingency Plan (DCP).

The changes provide objective triggers to lifting restrictions, and restore 2x per week watering that existed in 2012 DCP.

Amend PART 4. (E) Conservation Stage and Drought Response Stage One Watering Schedule by striking “Residential – Automatic ODD” and “Residential – Automatic EVEN” and amend the “Residential – Hose End to say “Residential – Hose- End and Automatic EVEN” and “Residential – Hose- End and Automatic ODD”.

Strike the word “Considered” from Table 2 for the Stage One and Stage Two regulations.

Strike the words “1x/week (13 hours automatic)” and “hose-end” from the Irrigation Restrictions in Stage One Regulations.
