TNC ordinance draft Ballot Language for May election

Dear Mayor and Colleagues:
I believe this language (or something extremely close) accompanied the petition which gathered over 60,000 signatures.
I would support this language owing to the fact that it appears legal under the city Charter provision, and those petition signers who asked to see ballot language examined and approved of this language.
“Shall the City Code be amended to repeal Ordinance No. 20151217-075 regulating Transportation Network Companies (TNCs) to impose an annual fee equal to 1% of the TNCs’ gross revenue, to create an application process for TNCs, to impose other regulations on TNCs, and to impose a penalty for violations?”
