Thanks for the discussion today regarding the proposed Efficiency Assessment ordinance. I appreciate the questions and commitment to this effort.
As I noted about two months ago when I first laid out this proposal, I want the process to be thoughtful and people to have reasonable time to assess it. I feel the effort will be improved if we continue working on it and bring it back at the February 26, 2026, meeting. Consequently, I'm withdrawing item 45 from the February 5, 2026, meeting.
Again, thanks to all of you for your efforts to assure public confidence in our budget and operations processes.
