Colleagues,
I would like to pull Item 17 from the consent agenda to consider an amendment to the proposed 2027 Council meeting calendar.
As many of you know, our sister city of Saltillo, Mexico, will celebrate its 450th anniversary on July 25, 2027. Several Council Members are considering attending the festivities the preceding weekend, with some potentially returning on Monday, July 26.
Given this important milestone and our longstanding relationship with Saltillo, I would like to propose either moving the July 27 budget work session to accommodate those attending the celebration.
Thank you,
-Chito
